About bathroom renovation

A pleasant bathroom combines a practical layout with carefully executed work behind the tiles. The position of the shower, toilet and vanity unit determines where water, drainage and electrics are needed. We also discuss storage space, lighting and how it connects to the rest of the home. MVBouw takes care of the agreed preparation, waterproof build-up, tiling and installation.

What we do

  • Demolition and removal
  • Pipework and electrics
  • Waterproof build-up
  • Tiling and grouting
  • Installing sanitary ware and custom work

How we work

  1. Measuring and layout
  2. Choice of materials and sanitary ware
  3. Technical build-up
  4. Installation and final inspection

Duration: approx. 2–4 weeks

What does it cost?

The price is determined by the dimensions, the sanitary ware, the choice of tiles and the desired finish.

The size of the bathroom is only one part of the price. Relocating drains, the condition of the substrate, the tile size and the choice of taps and furniture all affect the work. Let us know whether you will purchase sanitary ware and tiles yourself or would like to discuss this with us. In the quote we record which supply, installation and finishing are included.

Frequently asked questions

Can the layout of my bathroom be changed?

During the site visit we look at where the existing pipes and drains run and what space is available. A different layout may require extra work on the floor, walls and installations. That's why we discuss your wishes before sanitary ware is ordered. Photos, dimensions and a simple sketch help with the first conversation. We tailor the final solution to the technical possibilities and to how you want to use the bathroom every day.

How long does a bathroom renovation take?

The schedule depends on the demolition, the technical modifications, the materials and the required drying times. We agree on the order of the work before the project starts. The availability of tiles, furniture and shower glass plays a role here. Also let us know whether this is the only bathroom in the home. That way we can discuss in advance when facilities will be unavailable and which choices need to be made in time to prepare the work properly.

What clients say

★★★★★
“We are so happy with MVBouw! They completely renovated our home: from the extension, bathroom and toilet to the plastering, painting and parquet floor. We found it quite nerve-racking to choose a contractor, but communication was very pleasant from the start. We were in touch every day, they thought along with us, and the team was extremely involved and hard-working. Everything is beautifully finished with great attention to detail. We would trust MVBouw with our keys again in a heartbeat!”
