About home renovation

Renovating a home starts with a clear picture of what you want to keep and what needs to change. Think of the layout, the day-to-day use of the rooms and the condition of the installations. MVBouw brings demolition, pipework, walls, bathroom, kitchen and finishing together in one approach. During the site visit we discuss your priorities and look at which tasks depend on each other. For example, the pipework can be prepared before the new floor is laid and the walls are finished.

What we do

  • Demolition and skips
  • New layout and structural modifications
  • Electrics, water, drainage and heating
  • Plastering and painting
  • Bathroom, kitchen, floors and doors

How we work

  1. Site visit of the home
  2. Plan, budget and schedule
  3. Execution by a permanent team
  4. Inspection and handover

Duration: approx. 2–6 months

What does it cost?

The price is determined by the home, the work, the materials and the desired finish.

A renovation that keeps the existing layout has a different budget from a project with new walls, installations and sanitary ware. The number of square metres alone is therefore not a reliable basis for pricing. In your enquiry, let us know which rooms you want to tackle, which materials you have already chosen and what your desired budget is. After the site visit we prepare an itemised quote for the agreed work.

Frequently asked questions

Can I stay in the home during the renovation?

We discuss this based on the work and the rooms available. When renewing a bathroom, kitchen or installations, facilities may be temporarily unusable. Dust, noise and the delivery of materials also play a role. Let us know in advance if you work from home and which rooms need to remain accessible. Together we look at whether the work can be done section by section and what arrangements are needed regarding access, protection and the order of the work.

What do you need for a quote?

Send us the town or postcode, photos of the current situation and a short description of your wishes. A floor plan is useful if you want to change the layout. Also mention your preferred start period and which parts you want to arrange yourself. For a final quote we inspect the home and agree on the scope of the work. Changes to the assignment are discussed before they are carried out, so the consequences for costs and schedule are clear.

What clients say

★★★★★
“We are so happy with MVBouw! They completely renovated our home: from the extension, bathroom and toilet to the plastering, painting and parquet floor. We found it quite nerve-racking to choose a contractor, but communication was very pleasant from the start. We were in touch every day, they thought along with us, and the team was extremely involved and hard-working. Everything is beautifully finished with great attention to detail. We would trust MVBouw with our keys again in a heartbeat!”
