About underfloor heating

Underfloor heating has to suit the existing floor and the rest of the installation. MVBouw takes care of the agreed milling, laying the pipes, the connection and the preparation for the final floor. During the site visit we discuss the area to be heated, the available build-up height and the position of the manifold. The order of levelling and laying the new floor is also important.

Can underfloor heating be milled into my floor?

We assess this based on information about the floor build-up and a site visit. The type of subfloor, the available thickness and existing pipes are relevant here. Send us construction drawings or product details if you have them. We agree not only where the heating will go, but also how the manifold and connections will remain accessible. If milling does not suit the existing situation, we first discuss a different approach before materials are ordered or the work is scheduled.

When can the new floor be laid?

That depends on the materials used, the condition of the subfloor and the instructions of the suppliers involved. After installation, the agreed checks are carried out and the floor is prepared for the next phase. Levelling compounds and other products have their own application and drying requirements. That is why we coordinate the handover with the floor layer in advance. Only schedule delivery and installation of the final floor based on this joint schedule, not just on the day of milling.
